What I worked on:

  • The AWS Console Platform Team provides a centralized, multi-tenant, serverless hosting service for AWS Service Consoles, operating natively on AWS.
  • Led a cross-functional effort to redesign AWS Console’s architecture, reducing page load time by 20% and improving system resilience by implementing a multi-region failover strategy, preventing 100% availability loss in case of regional failures
  • Took initiative to improvise operational posture of the platform by introducing cross region canaries, researching for appropriate metrics to alarm during service abuse, adding integration tests to pipelines for better visibility into system, automated the region build steps for Tangerinebox that reduced the time to introduce service in new region.
  • Developed a traffic classification system to separate bot traffic from real customer usage, improving signal quality and reducing operational noise.
